La Bresse: A natural setting to suit all tastes!

WINTER
This mountain village of 5,000 inhabitants lies in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Reserve. La Bresse is the largest winter sports resort in North East France (3 areas for Alpine skiing, and a vast area for Nordic skiing).
Visitors can choose the resort that suits them: for those looking for new sensations, La Bresse-Hohneck will meet their every desire, whereas families looking for peace and quiet will prefer the family resorts.
This area is also one of the leading resorts in the Vosges Mountains and offers a range of different activities (cross-country skiing, sledging and paths for walkers).

SUMMER
In summer the footpaths allow visitors to wander all over this superb natural setting, stopping occasionally to refresh themselves at a traditional mountain inn (there are 250 km of footpaths and 200 km of marked mountain bike trails). As far as activities are concerned, you can do archery in the heart of the countryside, as well as swin-golf and climbing... a real challenge, and guaranteed fresh air!
Finally, those looking for exciting experiences can visit the Parcours des Aventuriers adventure park, see what it is like to spend the night in the trees, or eat a trapper's meal deep in the forest.
